Popstars is a game published by Thiollywood ("we"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We do not sell your data, we do not show third-party ads and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
What we collect
- Your game account: a random player ID created when you first open the game, a random secret stored on your device to sign in, your player name, avatar, cards, progress, coins and gems, friends, deals and messages inside the game.
- Crews (13+ only): the first name, colour and photo you choose for your crew card, and the anonymous poll answers about crew cards. Your crew card and photo are only visible to the members of your crew.
- Purchases: the store transaction ID and product, to deliver what you bought and handle refunds. Payment details are handled by Apple or Google only; we never see them.
- Linked account (optional, to save your progress): only the anonymous account identifier Apple, Google or Facebook gives us. We do not ask for your e-mail, name or friends list.
- Notifications (optional): a push token from Apple or Google, to tell you about deals, friend requests and your crew.
- Game analytics: anonymous events about how the game is played (screens opened, matches played, items bought), linked to a random ID and not to your identity, used to improve and balance the game.
- Technical data: your country (from your connection or store), time zone, device type and app version, and your IP address for security (fighting cheating and abuse; stored only in a scrambled, daily form for market votes).
Why
To run the game and your account (contract), to keep the game fair and safe — anti-cheat, moderation of crew cards, fraud on purchases (legitimate interest), to send the notifications you allowed (consent) and to meet legal obligations (purchase records).
Who processes it
Our servers run on Cloudflare (hosting, storage of crew photos) and Neon (database), in the United States and Europe, under data processing agreements and standard contractual clauses. Apple and Google deliver purchases and notifications. Analytics are processed by our own Thiollywood service.
How long
Your account is kept while you play. Crew photos are deleted when you leave the crew or delete your account. Purchase records are kept as long as the law requires (without your account once it is deleted). Analytics events are kept at most 25 months.
Your rights and choices
- Delete your account at any time in the game: Settings > Delete account. Everything is erased from our servers (except purchase records we must keep).
- You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or object to a processing by writing to support@thiollywood.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in France: the CNIL).
- Turn notifications off in the game settings or in your phone's settings.
Children
Popstars asks for your age when you start. Players under 13 cannot join crews, upload photos, appear in friend suggestions, or link a social account. If you believe a child under 13 shared personal information with us, contact us and we will delete it.
